"Acoustic Archaeology" — translating the ephemeral sonic heritage of London into permanent clay fossils. This process bridges the gap between speculative futures and our current environmental resonance.
Sound Analysis & Decomposition: Each soundscape recording was decomposed
into three analytical dimensions:
Directional energy & width (spatial spread),
Source count & motion (source positions),
and Spectral/timbral cues (texture variations).
These parameters were categorized into sound families — geophony, biophony, and anthrophony — transforming raw noise into readable visual glyphs.

Unity VFX Implementation: In Unity, we used the VFX Graph to let sound become visible. Each sound event from the CSV dataset was translated into a visual ripple in 3D space through a precise parameter mapping system.
This interlinked process of robotic inscription and point-cloud visualization materializes our fragile heritage, inviting future listeners to re-inhabit a city that once lived and breathed.
